Secondary school teachers who are members of the PPTA Union have been directed to attend a Paid Union Meeting (PUM) on Thursday 16 May 2024 at 1:30 pm.
Mount Hutt College will therefore be closed for instruction from 12:30pm on this day to allow those teachers to attend.
Bus students and/or younger students who require supervision are able to remain at school until the end of the school day and will be supervised by teaching staff who are non-union members.
Buses will run as normal (primary schools are not affected by the PUM).
